1. Live Search
If the QR Code Scanner live search function isn't working, then it is usually one of three reasons:
1.1. You need to allow your browser to use the camera on this page.
1.2. If you are using a computer, you need to have a webcam or camera device connected to the computer.
1.3. Some browsers may not support the QR Code Scanner.
While most browsers do work, here is a known list of issues:
- Google Chrome on incognito mode (try the normal mode instead)
If you are on iPhone, then only Safari browser will work, because Apple doesn't give 3rd party browsers any permissions to use the iPhone camera. This includes:
- Chrome for iOS
- Firefox for iOS
2. Uploading QR Codes
2.1. Make sure there is only one QR Code on the image.
In the case of multiple QR Codes, the scanner may pick the wrong one.
2.2. Make sure there is enough color difference between the background and QR Code.
The scanner may not be able to read QR Codes that have a very similar color to the background.
2.3. Check the format of the image file.
Normal images such as .JPG and .PNG are supported.
Vector files are supported in .SVG - .PDF and .EPS scanning is currently not supported.
3. QR Code Scan History
To enable the scan history, you need to have an account and be logged in.
You can do so here.
